COVID-19 CLAIMS 24 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 3,272, AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 24 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 3,272, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 2,379 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 283,873.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,172, which is 41 more than on Thursday. There are 309 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Thursday.

*211 in Washington County

*205 in Lane County

*195 in Jackson County

*157 in Deschutes County

*154 in Linn County

*151 in Douglas County

*105 in Clackamas County

*103 in Josephine County

*72 in Umatilla County

*61 in Klamath County

*46 in Yamhill County

*41 in Polk County

*39 in Coos County

*37 in Lincoln County

*31 in Tillamook County

*27 each in Columbia and Malheur counties

*23 each in Wallowa and Wasco counties

*20 in Curry County

*16 in Crook County

*15 each in Jefferson and Union counties

*12 in Baker County

*11 in Morrow County

*8 each in Grant and Harney counties

*6 in Clatsop County

*2 each in Hood River and Lake counties

*1 in Sherman County

OHA reported that 10,701 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 5,716 were administered on Thursday. 4,985 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
