On Tuesday, the Oregon Health Authority reported state pandemic record highs for the number of COVID-19 hospitalizations, as well as the number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across is 1,162, which is 42 more than on Monday. There are 322 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 6 more than on Monday.
COVID-19 has claimed 43 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 3,198, as of Tuesday. The state case total is 276,286.

OHA reported that 9,259 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 2,388 were initial doses and 1,542 were second doses that were administered on Monday. 4,603 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Monday.
