A Roseburg man was jailed following a hospital incident on Sunday night.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 10:30 p.m. 45-year old Daniel Gray was admitted to Mercy Medical Center where he allegedly became confrontational with staff members. The report said the man was discharged almost immediately and Mercy Security escorted him out of the building.

The report said the man turned around and threatened the employees with a knife, before fleeing towards Stewart Parkway. The suspect was located in the parking lot of the former K-Mart store and was taken into custody.

Charges include unlawful use of a weapon, resisting arrest, interfering with a peace officer, second degree disorderly conduct, and for two counts of menacing. Bail was set at $77,500.
