ODOT CONTINUES EXIT 125 NORTHBOUND OFF-RAMP PROJECT

May 6, 2024 3:30 a.m.

A contractor for the Oregon Department of Transportation is continuing work on the Exit 125 Northbound Off-Ramp project at Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard.

To improve safety and ease congestion at Exit 125, a dedicated right-turn lane is being added to the northbound off-ramp. The project will also replace the traffic signal poles and hardware, install new push-button pedestrian beacons, upgrade sidewalks and ADA curb ramps and repave the off-ramp and intersection. All work is scheduled to be completed this summer.

Construction continues from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings. Drivers should watch for nighttime lane closures on the northbound freeway off-ramp, Garden Valley Boulevard and Mulholland Drive.

During the off-ramp closure, northbound I-5 drivers can continue north to Exit 127 and use the Edenbower Boulevard interchange to turn around and reach Exit 125 from the southbound direction.

When the loop on-ramp is closed, drivers will be detoured to the other northbound on-ramp which carries westbound Garden Valley Boulevard traffic onto I-5.
