Nine people were cited near Micelli Park on Tuesday morning.
A report from Roseburg Police said at 8:20 a.m. the group, ranging in age from 20 to 58, were contacted due to having tents and/or bedding material laid out. All but one of them were cited for offensive littering as well as for having garbage, trash and debris scattered around the area. The report said all of them have been warned and cited on previous contacts for camping in the area.
They were also cited for prohibited camping and for violation of park rules.
