COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 147

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, with the state’s death toll at 147 as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 45 new confirmed cases and 3 new presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 3,864. The new confirmed cases and new presumptive cases include:
*11 in Multnomah County
*10 in Washington County
*8 in Marion County
*5 in Clackamas County
*4 in Malheur County
*3 in Jackson County
*2 each in Clatsop and Linn counties
*1 each in Curry, Polk, and Umatilla counties
Oregon’s 146th COVID-19 death is a 53-year old man in Marion County, who tested positive on May 18th and died May 20th at Salem Hospital
Oregon’s 147th COVID19 death is am 83-year old man in Multnomah County, who tested positive on April 25th and died May 8th at his residence
Both had underlying medical conditions, according to the OHA.
