Oregon Governor Kate Brown has approved Marion and Polk counties for Phase 1 Reopening.
A release from Brown’s office said county officials had presented revised applications to the Oregon Health Authority and the Governor’s Office to confirm that both counties have met Oregon’s safety and preparedness prerequisites for reopening.
The counties will enter Phase 1 Reopening on Friday.
