MAN JAILED ON SECOND-DEGREE SEX ABUSE CHARGE

A Myrtle Creek man was jailed on a second-degree sex abuse charge on Tuesday.

A Myrtle Creek Police report said at about 10:40 p.m. officers were called to a disturbance in the 200 block of Northeast Johnson. Following an investigation, 58-year old Gregory Hilliard was detained on the sex abuse charge and for harassment. Bail was set at $52,500.

No further information was released by MCPD.
