Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged criminal mischief incident on Saturday morning.
An RPD report said at 6:30 a.m. officers responded to the parking lot of Douglas County Emergency Communications in the1000 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue. Reports said that 27-year-old Robert Norris was wandering around the parking lot, holding a large rock. Officers located Norris, who ran and reportedly threw himself through a window of the courthouse. He was placed into custody after reportedly resisting officers and was transported to corrections.
Norris was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct, third-degree escape, resisting arrest and harassment. Norris was detained without bail.
