CHI Mercy Medical Health’s ER and Trauma Department and Costco Wholesale have again partnered together with local medical providers to present the 6th annual Safety Day for Kids – virtually.

Sarah Baumgartner of Mercy said the event will feature summer safety tips from Mercy’s Trauma Department, the Roseburg Fire Department, Evergreen Family Medicine, and Wildlife Safari, with Mercy and Costco as co-presenters.

Baumgartner said participation is free for all ages and any child can watch by gong to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9P-TnHjis0. After watching, kids should submit their name, age, address and two safety tips learned from watching, to Mercy via its Facebook page. Kids will then receive a summer safety kit featuring items from Mercy, Costco and the Roseburg Fire Department.

Kids can participate through the end of the month.
