A Roseburg man was jailed in an alleged littering, trespassing and criminal mischief incident, on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at about 8:30 p.m. officers saw 64-year old Donald Broyles digging through a dumpster in the 1000 block of Southeast Stephens, with a significant amount of garbage strewn all over the ground. The report said the owner of the business told officers that the suspect had done the exact same thing on Monday and was told not to return.

The owner had to clean up a large amount of garbage on two different days due to Broyles throwing garbage everywhere, according to the report. Broyles was charged with criminal trespass in the second degree, criminal mischief in the third degree, and for offensive littering. Bail was set at $ 1,250.
