A Roseburg man was jailed after an alleged store incident on Saturday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 8:00 a.m. an employee called in a suspicious male who had allegedly stolen a beer and was laying in the parking lot in the 3000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The report said the store was not interested in pursuing charges but asked that the man be trespassed.

An officer contacted the suspect and learned he was on probation with a no intoxicating beverages clause. The 46-year old was charged with the probation violation and detained without bail.
