SAVING GRACE NAMES NEW MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center has announced that it has hired a new medical director.

Executive Director Megan Gram said Dr. Valerie Rathbone has begun her new role, both as medical director and primary shelter veterinarian.

Gram said Dr. Rathbone graduated from Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Gram said Dr. Rathbone has experience in shelter medicine and high quality, high volume spay/neuter having worked at both the Idaho Humane Society and Emancipet, a high quality, high volume spay/neuter clinic based in Austin, Texas.

Dr. Rathbone said “I am so excited to be joining the Saving Grace team and am looking forward to helping the animals and people in our community”.

Gram said that Dr. Rathbone was selected following a two-month search.
