The reservoirs of the Glide Water Association have been able to fill back up.
Office Manager Katy Wright said members have been given a notice encouraging users to continue to practice water conservation efforts during this drought. Wright said the water treatment plant cannot treat enough water to keep up with the demand from users.
The notice said the Glide Water Association hopes to secure funding to upgrade the water treatment capacity this year and is seeking to have the project completed within the next two years, if construction goes smoothly.
Water conservation was called for originally earlier this week, when a notice on the association’s website, said it was within a day of running out of water.
