7 MORE NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 2 NEW PRESUMPTIVE IN COUNTY

7 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, and there are 2 new presumptive cases, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said 1 positive case from Monday has been retracted after it was determined that person with a positive test result was not a Douglas County resident. That case has been moved to their respective county.

The update said the total number of cases is now at 3,899. Of those, 3,717 are people that have received a positive test result and 185 are presumptive. There have been 84 deaths. 15 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 8 locally and 7 outside the area. 155 people are in isolation. 195 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 321 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 85 people since Monday.
