1 more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County and 8 more people have received new positive test results, as of Monday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the new death was a 54-year old woman who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on June 11th and passed away on Sunday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,891. Of those, 3,708 are people that have received new positive test results and 183 are presumptive. 15 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 8 locally and 7 outside the area. 155 people are in isolation. 251 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 406 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is an increase of 14 people since Sunday.

The DCCRT weekend update said on Saturday there were 11 more people who had received new positive test results, and 2 new presumptive cases. On Sunday there were 3 more people who had received new positive test results for COVID-29 in the county.
