COVID-19 CLAIMS NO MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 2,375 AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, with the state’s death toll remaining at 2,375 as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 217 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing that state total to 164,164. The new cases include:

*34 in Multnomah County

*30 in Clackamas County

*19 each in Marion and Lane counties

*16 in Linn County

*14 in Deschutes County

*12 in Douglas County

*10 in Jackson County

*9 in Benton County

*7 each in Coos, Josephine and Yamhill counties

*6 each in Lincoln and Polk counties

*5 in Union County

*4 in Clatsop County

*3 each in Baker, Columbia and Tillamook counties

*2 in Harney County

*1 in Lake County

OHA said the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients across Oregon is 142, which is 1 fewer than on Sunday. There are 36 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 more than on Sunday.

OHA reported that 18,191 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 10,067 doses were administered on Sunday. 8,124 were administered on previous days but were added into the vaccine registry on Sunday.
