COVID-19 CLAIMS NO MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 2,375, AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, with the state’s death toll remaining at 2,375, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 253 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 163,952. The new cases include:

*38 in Multnomah County

*34 in Washington County

*31 in Clackamas County

*19 in Lane County

*17 each in Marion and Jackson counties

*14 in Klamath County

*12 each in Douglas and Josephine counties

*10 each in Deschutes and Yamhill counties

*7 each in Columbia and Coos counties

5 in Linn County

*4 in Benton County

*3 each in Jefferson and Union counties

*2 each in Baker, Polk, and Tillamook counties

*1 each in Grant, Lincoln, Malheur and Wasco counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 143, which is 125 more on Saturday. There are 32 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 10 more than on Saturday.

OHA reported that 28,722 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 16,680 doses were administered on Saturday. 12,042 doses were administered on previous days, but were added into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
