COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,349, as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 239 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 160,259. The new cases include:
*28 in Washington County
*26 in Marion County
*25 in Jackson County
*24 in Multnomah County
*16 each in Josephine and Lane counties
*15 in Clackamas County
*13 in Umatilla County
*10 in Coos County
*8 in Douglas County
*7 each in Clatsop and Deschutes counties
*6 each in Grant and Linn counties
*5 in Benton County
*4 in Yamhill County
*3 each in Lincoln, Malheur and Tillamook counties
*2 each in Jefferson, Klamath and Wheeler counties
*1 each in Baker, Crook, Curry. Morrow, Polk and Union counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 86 to 90. 1 each lived in Lane, Washington and Josephine counties.
OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 108, which is 11 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 29 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 more than on Tuesday.
OHA reported that 15,289 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 7,849 doses were administered on Tuesday. 7,440 were administered on previous days but were added into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 1,363,311 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 1,777,145 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
