Three Rivers Foundation has awarded a $5,000 grant to CCD’s ‘Women in Business’ program, helping CCD Business Development Corporation continue to create opportunities for women to connect, learn, and grow across Southwestern Oregon.

A release from CCD Business Development Corporation said, ‘Women in Business’ brings women together each month in Coos, Curry, and Douglas Counties for welcoming, engaging gatherings focused on building meaningful connections, sharing resources, hearing from expert speakers, and learning from one another’s experiences.

Support from Three Rivers Foundation helps make it possible for CCD to continue offering opportunities throughout local rural communities and strengthen a network of women supporting women in business.

CCD Business Development Corporation is a private nonprofit Oregon corporation which was formed in 1971. CCD’s primary activities are the creation of private sector employment through local and regional economic diversification and capacity building, reflecting the conviction that sound economic development policy will arise from local and regional determination of economic development needs and priorities.
