COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,298, as of Monday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 234 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 157,515. The new cases include:
*57 in Washington County
*31 in Multnomah County
*26 in Clackamas County
*22 each in Douglas, Jackson, and Marion counties
*15 in Lane County
*7 in Deschutes County
*6 in Linn County
*5 each in Benton and Josephine counties
*4 in Coos County
*3 in Polk County
*2 each in Columbia, Klamath and Yamhill counties
*1 each in Curry, Hood River and Lincoln counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 73 to 75. 1 each lived in Douglas and Lane counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 119, which is 3 more than on Sunday. There are 33 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 fewer than on Sunday.
OHA reported that 21,793 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 12,853 doses are administered on Sunday. 8,940 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
