There is a case of COVID-19 at Tri City Elementary School.
Superintendent Kate McLaughlin said they were notified that a student at the school tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. McLaughlin said the district is working closely with the Douglas Public Health Network to respond to the news and protect the health of the school community.
McLaughlin said that staff, and parents of the children in the cohort of the student that tested positive has been contacted, asking them to quarantine and monitor for symptoms.
