COVID-19 has claimed 9 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 1,477, as of Thursday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,682 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 113,909. The new cases include:

*184 in Washington County
*144 in Umatilla County
*140 in Clackamas County
*120 in Lane County
*103 in Jackson County
*68 in Deschutes County
*56 in Linn County
*39 in Polk County
*34 in Klamath County
*33 in Malheur County
*32 in Jefferson County
*31 in Yamhill County
*29 in Josephine County
*22 in Benton Count
*21 in Douglas County
*16 in Hood River County
*12 in Baker County
*11 each in Lincoln and Wasco counties
*10 in Morrow County
*9 each in Columbia and Coos counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 62 to 88. 2 each lived in Multnomah and Klamath counties. 1 each lived in Douglas, Marion, Jackson and Umatilla counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients across Oregon is 488, which is 33 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 106 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 fewer than on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, 5,188 doses of vaccine were administered, raising the state’s total number of first vaccine doses to 38,698. So far, 187,575 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
