A Glendale man was jailed for a warrant, resisting, and methamphetamine charges on Tuesday afternoon.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 4:15 p.m. a deputy contacted 50-year-old Ryan Taylor at a residence in the 100 block of Gilbert Avenue in the Glendale area. When the deputy told Taylor he had a warrant and was under arrest, the man said, “no” and tried taking off while reaching in his pockets. The deputy ultimately took the man to the ground as he allegedly tossed a meth pipe over a fence.

Taylor was charged with the warrant, resisting arrest and probable cause for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was detained without bail.
