3 MORE COVID-19 DEATHS, 26 MORE POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 1 NEW PRESUMPTIVE CASE OF COVID-19

On Thursday, the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team announced that 3 more people have died from COVID-19. There are 26 more people with positive test results and 1 new presumptive case as well.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the new deaths include:

*A 76-year old man who passed away Wednesday in Roseburg. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 when he was admitted to the hospital on November 14th

*An 83-year old man who passed Wednesday in Roseburg. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 when he was admitted to the hospital on November 8th.

*An 82-year old man who passed away Thursday in Roseburg. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 on November 9th and was admitted to the hospital on November 13th.

In the interest of privacy, no additional information will be released.

The update said the total number of cases is now at 728. Of those, 663 are people that have received positive test results, and 65 are presumptive. The total number of deaths is now at 15. 14 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, 12 locally and 2 out of the area. 226 people are in isolation. 467 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network is supporting 693 people that are in either isolation or quarantine. 17,857 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.

The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN is Friday in Roseburg.
