COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 691 AS OF SUNDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state death toll to 691, as of Sunday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 524 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state case total to 45,429. The new cases include:

*132 in Marion County

*116 in Multnomah County

*67 in Washington County

*36 in Jackson County

*35 each in Lane and Clackamas counties

*8 each in Douglas and Malheur counties

*7 each in Linn and Yamhill counties

*6 in Coos County

*5 each in Columbia, Polk and Umatilla counties

*4 each in Klamath and Wasco counties

*3 in Clatsop County

*2 each in Grant, Hood River, Lincoln and Morrow counties

*1 each in Benton, Union and Wallowa counties

Oregon’s 690th COVID-19 death is a 73-year old woman in Crook County who tested positive on October 15th and died on October 31st at St. Charles Medical Center.

Oregon’s 691st COVID-19 death is a 90-year old woman in Washington County who tested positive on October 8th and died on October 31st at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

Both had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
