Roseburg Police jailed a woman for a city ordinance violation early Monday.

An RPD report said at 2:50 a.m. officers contacted 50-year-old Amy Dykes who was camping on the sidewalk near the intersection of Southeast Lane Avenue and Southeast Stephens Street. This is within the Enhanced Law Enforcement Area. Camping is prohibited on the sidewalk is prohibited at all times at that location.

Dispatch advised that Dykes was a city exclusion violator with three warnings and was excluded from the Enhanced Law Enforcement Area. A detainer was authorized. Dykes was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, a criminal count of prohibited camping and a parole violation. She was detained on $1,000 bail and was released later on Monday.
