Spring kittens are arriving at Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center.
Executive Director Wendy Kang said spring and fall are usually the busiest times for the intake of newborn kittens. She said this year is no exception as 100 kittens have already been taken in this spring.
Kang said as in years past, Saving Grace is hosting a Spring Kitten Shower to raise supplies, money and volunteers to help care for the kittens until they are old enough to be placed for adoption. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, things will be done a bit differently than in previous years. Instead of asking the public to shop for kitten supplies, Kang said supporters are asked to consider making a cash donation through their website.
Saving Grace also needs people willing to foster new kittens as well.
