ROSEBURG BREAKS RECORD HIGH ON FRIDAY

Roseburg broke a record high temperature for the date on Friday.
Data from the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 90 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The previous record high for the date was 84 degrees, set in 1939. Elsewhere in the region, Medford reached 93 degrees, but that was not a record high.
Friday was also the hottest day of the year so far, in Roseburg. April 9th had been the hottest day of the year previously, when it got to 79 degrees.
Weekend high temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 80’s for Roseburg. Showers are slated to return on Monday, and stay in the forecast for most of next week.
