12.24 percent of ballots have been received for the 2026 Douglas County November General Election, as of Thursday evening.

County Clerk Daniel Loomis said that is 10,942 ballots, which is 1.64 percentage points below the participation rate at the same point in the 2022 local November General Election.

Loomis recommends returning ballots directly through an official Douglas County ballot drop site or the United States Postal Service. If the ballot is given to another person, they must return it through either method within two days of receiving it.
