A Frost Advisory is in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service in Medford has issued the Advisory for central Douglas County and the south-central Oregon Coast. Temperatures as low as 32 degrees will result in frost formation.
The Advisory applies to the Umpqua and Coquille valleys of Douglas and Coos counties. That includes Roseburg, Canyonville, Elkton, Drain, Camas Valley, Myrtle Point and Coquille.
Forecasters said frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. Residents should take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.
