The Douglas Forest Protective Association has issued a prescribed burn permit for Friday.

The ignite time has been set for 12:00 p.m. in the 500 block of Azalea Road in the Elkton area. Smoke will be visible from Highway 138W, Elkton, Kellogg, and Scottsburg.
