Roseburg Police jailed a man Wednesday for failure to register as a sex offender.

An RPD report said just before 10:00 a.m. officers responded to the 400 block of Northeast Winchester Street. A parole officer reported that his client, a 55-year-old, had moved to a new address and failed to register for that location. The man admitted to the crime and was taken into custody without issue. He was detained without bail.
