One driver was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck on Monday morning.

A Roseburg Police report said just after 7:50 a.m. officers responded to the accident at the intersection of Southeast Washington Avenue and Southeast Spruce Street. Officers investigated the crash and obtained footage from a nearby business. Upon viewing footage, officers learned that a 65-year-old driver from Arizona attempted to make a left hand turn onto Southeast Spruce from the right lane of Southeast Washington, causing her vehicle to collide with the second vehicle. That forced the second vehicle off the road and into a utility pole. The driver whose vehicle was hit was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries.

The woman who caused the accident was cited for making an improper left turn.
