The OSU Extension Service is offering a practical, idea-filled class focused on getting the most out of a freeze dryer this Friday October 9th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
An Extension release said class will show how to plan ahead, stock a pantry with useful foods and ingredients, and turn freeze-dried foods into convenient meals for everyday use.
The class will teach strategies for deciding what to freeze-dry, how much to preserve, and how to build a well-stocked pantry that works. Plus, attendees will be able to sample tasty meal ideas made with freeze-dried ingredients and discover recipes anyone can recreate at home.
Registration is required by Wednesday. More information about the class available at: https://extension.oregonstate.edu/douglas/events/freeze-drying-beginners
