Roseburg Police jailed a man found with a reportedly stolen vehicle early on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 2:20 a.m. officers contacted 35-year-old Justin Fugate in a vehicle parked at Templin Beach in the 100 block of Southeast Templin Avenue. This was after the park was closed. Dispatch advised that the vehicle was entered as stolen.

Fugate was sleeping and admitted to taking the vehicle without permission. He is a corrections offender on parole. A detainer was authorized for committing a new crime. Fugate was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and a parole violation. Bail was set at $10,000.
