Roseburg Police jailed a man on a stalking charge on Tuesday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 2:50 p.m. officers responded to a report that the 40-year- old had returned to a victim’s residence in the 3200 block of West Shasta Avenue after being previously arrested for stalking. Officers contacted the suspect as his residence on West Berdine Street, and he admitted to waiting outside the victim’s house for several minutes until he came outside. The man was detained without bail.
