Roseburg Police cited a woman Tuesday for initiating a prior false report.

An RPD report said on September 2nd, the 68-year-old said she was involved in a hit and run incident in the parking lot of Walmart on Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers received video footage of the incident that proved the woman was the one who crashed into a parked unoccupied vehicle. She allegedly changed her story multiple times and was never truthful with officers according to the report. The woman was released after the citation was issued.
