Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft and warrants on Monday evening.

An RPD report said at 11:30 p.m. officers responded to a store in the 2700 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway where they contacted the 33-year-old after he allegedly had stolen from the store. During the investigation, it was learned that he had provided a false name. The man was charged with third-degree theft and for warrants out of the Winston and Cottage Grove Police departments. Bail was set at $3,750.
