Roseburg Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 1:00 p.m. officers were dispatched to the accident near the Interstate 5 southbound off-ramp and Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. A pickup reportedly ran a red light and struck another pickup and a large SUV. The first driver, an Ashland man, told officers that he had looked down at his GPS to figure out where he was going and when he looked up the collision had occurred. The other drivers told officers that their light was green. The damage was consistent with the first driver running the light.

After the initial collision, all three vehicles parked in a gas station parking lot where the second-vehicle’s travel trailer collided with the first vehicle. the man who caused the initial wreck was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. No injuries were reported.
