A man from Dain was jailed for the charge of second-degree criminal mischief on Friday afternoon.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 1:30 p.m. a deputy responded to a residence in the 5400 block of Highway 38 in the Drain area after an incident was called in. A 43-year-old man admitted to letting the air out of the victim’s tires and opening propane canisters outside the residence because he was frustrated. The victim claimed the suspect had previously damaged the front passenger-side fender of her vehicle. The man was taken into custody and was detained without bail.
