A single vehicle accident damaged about 100 feet of vinyl fence on Tuesday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 11:35 a.m. a 43-year-old was driving his pickup through the curve portions of Del Rio Road, northwest of Roseburg. As the driver was negotiating a curve, he lost his grip causing him to let go of the steering wheel. The vehicle crashed into a Pacific Power utility pole in front of a residence in the 1700 block of the road. During his contact with the driver, there were no signs of impairment. The driver said he was not under any medication. The owner of the fence was contacted and notified of the damage. The pickup was towed from the scene.
