SUTHERLIN POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED DISORDERLY CONDUCT INCIDENT

Sutherlin Police jailed a man following a reported disorderly conduct incident on Friday.

An SPD report said at approximately 11:15 a.m. the 33-year-old was allegedly screaming, banding his fists on a picnic table, and running erratically at Triangle Park in the 1300 block of West Central Avenue. A few employees at the park were alarmed and had to run into a building and lock the door because they were afraid of the man.

The suspect was eventually detained. A glass pipe was white powder residue was reportedly found in the man’s coat pocket. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and detained on $2,500 bail. The man was cited and released for the pipe.
