In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Riverbend Live! has announced that a group of local musicians will open for blues great Shemekia Copeland on Friday night.
Musicians Dawn Day, Neil Gregory Johnson, Brian Dean, T-Bone Stone and Thomas Whiteside will have a one-time collaboration before Copeland takes the stage. The local group is expected to begin around 6:45 p.m.
