Music on the Half Shell features folk, rock, and pop storytelling artist Amelia Day on Tuesday night:
Day is known as a musical jack-of-all-trades with heartfelt storytelling and unforgettable melodies. Day’s signature sound is described as fresh yet familiar with raw delivery and perceptive lyrics well beyond her 23 years. Day’s lyrics are said to be reminiscent of Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon, full of wordplay, double-meanings, and rhythmic variations, according to the Spokesman Review.
Half Shell concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. at Nichol’s Band Shell in Roseburg’s Stewart Park through August 11th. Blankets can be put out ahead of time. Attendees can bring their own dinner along with wine or beer or purchase a meal and snacks from one of the many vendors.
