Troopers with Oregon State Police jailed a woman following a crash on Wednesday evening.
An OSP report said at 8:50 p.m. troopers were dispatched to mile post 22 on Highway 138W near Sutherlin. Upon arrival, the driver was being assessed by medics and did not want to be transported to the hospital. Troopers noticed signs of impairment and the driver consented to standard field sobriety tests. Ultimately the driver was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. The Sutherlin woman was taken into custody and transported to corrections. She was detained without bail and was released on Thursday.
Her vehicle was recovered by a towing company.
