HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT SUNDAY AT 11:00 A.M. TO MONDAY AT 11:00 P.M.

A Heat Advisory is in effect from Sunday at 11:00 a.m. to Monday at 11:00 p.m. for central Douglas County and its eastern foothills.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said high temperatures between 90 to 104 degrees are expected with low temperatures of 55 to 65 degrees.

The Advisory area includes Roseburg, Sutherlin, Elkton, Camas Valley, Glendale, Canyonville, Tiller and Toketee Falls.

Forecasters said hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. Residents should drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

The mercury reached 87 degrees on Friday at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
