The Sutherlin Police Department investigated a traffic crash on Friday afternoon.

An SPD report said just before 4:20 p.m. a driver was stopped on Stearnes Lane, at the intersection of Southeast Front Street in Oakland. The driver failed to yield and hit a second vehicle that was traveling southbound on Southeast Front Street. Both vehicles had one passenger each and no injuries were reported following the accident. The driver who caused the wreck was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device. Alcohol was found to not be a factor in the crash.
