ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL PAIR FOR REPORTED CRIMINAL TRESPASS

Roseburg Police jailed two people for a reported criminal trespass incident on Saturday night.

An RPD report said at 11:40 p.m. officers contacted a 36-year-old Eugene man and 31-year-old Roseburg woman at a business in the 1600 block of Northeast Stephens Street after dispatch received an alarm due to an exterior freezer door being opened. The man admitted to pulling the door but did not enter freezer. During the contact, he was allegedly found to be in possession of approximately 1.25 grams of suspected methamphetamine. The man was detained without bail.

The woman was also charged with second-degree criminal trespass along with a warrant that was out for her arrest. She was detained without bail but was later released.
