The seven fires making up the Homestead Complex, burning in the Umpqua National Forest, have grown to 4,151 acres, with containment remaining at 14 percent.

A UNF update said the largest fire remains the 1,612 acre No Man Fire. Sunday, firefighters slowed growth toward dozer line in the southeastern corner of the fire with helicopter bucket drops.

On the 1,201-acre Horse Heaven Creek Fire, crews continued plumbing hoselays and handline improvements.

On both the 318-acre Fuller Lake and 408-acre Bullpup fires, clear air contributed to some fire activity before the smoke cap settled back in. The 335-acre Reynolds Butte Fire saw minimal activity. The 243-acre Salmon 33 Fire saw negligible fire activity, staying within its footprint as crews continued plumbing hoselays and handline improvement.
